MARC LANDREVILLE TAKES THE WIN AT STE-CROIX.

 
Marc Landreville met Jonathan Guitard, DMCC Championship standings leader in the finals of ROUND 5, which was presented at Riverside Super Speedway Sté-Croix. Also not long ago Marc Landreville won CHASE presented at the Circuit ICAR in Mirabel last August.
In Ste-Croix he qualified 13th position overall and won over Carl Harvey (Top16), Jessen Lemarbre (Great8) and Tommy Lemaire (Final4) and finally Jonathan Guitard in the finals before taking the first step of the podium. The consolation final, was between Tommy Lemaire and Michael Raîche. Tommy who previously was defeated by Jonathan Guitard, won third place.

DISAPPOINTING DAY FOR KEVIN MORIN

Decidedly, before starting Round 5 Kevin Morin had a lead of 43 points on Marc Landreville while being well installed in 2nd place. However, after losing his duel against Alexandre Blanchette in the Top 16, Morin saw his lead melt away and slid to 3rd position 2 points behind Landreville.

2018 DMCC CHAMPIONSHIP IS WITHIN JONATHAN GUITARD’S REACH

Only by qualifying for the Top 16 at the next Round, presented at Autodrome Chaudière on September 22, Jonathan Guitard will be crowned with his first ever DMCC Championship title. The 2018 title of vice-champion, is still up for grabs, the battle will be between Marc Landreville and Kevin Morin. As for Tommy Lemaire and Michael Raîche, only 4 points separates the two drivers who hold the 4th and 5th position. Several of the top ten Drivers will be able to improve their position in the final round.
